Film production
In 2009, Wiktor Piątkowski established Bahama Films, an independent production company based in Warsaw. Since then, he has produced, among others, feature films (“Święta inaczej”), documentaries ("Over the Mountains"), short films ("Reset"), and developed TV series in Poland and abroad.
In 2018 Wiktor Piątkowski together with Mathieu Van de Velde from France and Sandra Buchta from Germany co-organized the 7th edition of Racconti program, which was financed by the IDM South Tyrol Film Fund and Commission. The program was dedicated to the screenwriters and producers from Italy, Germany and Austria.
Portfolio
In Italy, together with Endemol Shine Italy and Black Sheep Films, he is developing the series "Lullaby", which was first presented at the MIA festival in Rome in 2019.
In Germany Wiktor Piątkowski co-produces a series „Social Murder” and “Delivery Monkeys”. Together with his Russian partners, he is developing a series in Vladivostok ("Penelopes") and a film in St. Petersburg ("The White Nights' Heist"). He is also developing new projects with producers from France and Scandinavia.
TV series and films developed by Wiktor Piątkowski were pitched, among others, at festivals and industry events in Berlin, Rome, Munich, Tallinn, Odessa and London. Some of them are currently in development and pre-production.
In 2020, Wiktor Piątkowski was recognized by the organizers of the Cannes Series festival as one of the 300 "Producers to Watch".
