Screenwriter
Wiktor Piątkowski writes scripts for films and TV series. The first TV series idea he had in his life turned into the series "Wataha" (eng. “The Pack” or “The Border”) created together with Kamil Chomiuk and Krzysztof Maćkowski, produced by HBO as their first original TV production in Poland. The series has won many awards (including the Polish Film Awards: Eagles for the best TV series), has been broadcasted in over 40 countries (as the first Polish series in Great Britain and Australia) and was the most-watched Polish production both on HBO and on HBO GO.
Working with passion
Wiktor is also the only Polish writer who has created a series in Germany (“Just Push Abuba”, ZDF, co-creators: Jana Burbach and Niko Schulz-Dornburg).
As a scriptwriter, headwriter or showrunner, Wiktor Piątkowski worked on over 1.100 TV series episodes that were broadcast by the largest TV stations in Poland (including TVP1, TVP2, Polsat, TVN, HBO, Canal +) and VOD services (including Netflix, Viaplay, HBO Max, Polsat Box Go, Player).
His romantic comedies "Squared Love” (written in cooperation with Marzanna Polit), "Squared Love All Over Again", "Squared Love Everlasting" and “Heart Parade” (written with Natalia Matuszek) were produced for Netflix by Endemol Shine Polska.

He collaborated with production companies from 10 countries (Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Croatia). He was also a member of international script teams led by outstanding authors from the USA (including James V. Hart, Graham Yost) and had the opportunity to closely observe the work of the best showrunners (including Frank Spotnitz, Jonathan Shapiro, Terence Winter).
