Supposedly, two of the most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. In my case these two weren\u2019t very distant from each other. I was less than a one year old when I discovered the power of storytelling.<\/p>

When nobody and nothing was able to silence the crying children locked in a hospital, one of them grabbed a book suddenly and started to read out loud and walk around his bed. The fact he couldn\u2019t read and could hardly walk, held the book upside down and his vocabulary range was mainly based on some invented sounds, was hardly any problem. It worked!<\/p>

His colleagues, captured by his reading, finally stopped crying and discovered something positive in the grey reality of the hospital in the communist Poland. A good story can carry away its listeners and provide them with a little bit of magic.\u00a0<\/p>

Almost forty years later and I still do the same thing \u2013 tell the stories. Make people laugh, cry, scare, touch them, surprise and carry them to different worlds. As a screenwriter I tell visually attractive stories, as a producer I make a step forward to realize them and as a screenwriting lecturer I teach others screenwriting skills.
